FIREBIRDS TO HOST ONTARIO REIGN IN PRESEASON MATCHUP ON SEPTEMBER 27
All Tickets Available for $10 with Proceeds Benefiting One Valley Foundation
PALM DESERT, CA (September 2, 2026) – The Coachella Valley Firebirds, proud affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Seattle Kraken, announced today that the team will host the Ontario Reign in a preseason contest at Acrisure Arena on Sunday, September 27 at 5 p.m. PT.
All tickets for the preseason game will be available for just $10 with all proceeds benefiting the One Valley Foundation, the charitable arm of the Firebirds and Acrisure Arena. The exhibition game will give fans their first opportunity to see the Firebirds on home ice ahead of the team’s milestone fifth season while supporting the Foundation’s continued impact throughout the Coachella Valley.
The One Valley Foundation supports organizations and initiatives throughout the Coachella Valley with a focus on three key pillars: Education, Community, and Well-Being. Since its founding, the Foundation has invested more than $1.9 million into local organizations and programs that positively impact residents across the region.
The preseason contest comes just five days before the Firebirds officially open Season Five at Acrisure Arena against the Reign on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m. during the Home Opener, presented by Acrisure.
